The France international left the German giants in August 2017 as he forced through a move to Barcelonain a stunning £105million move.
After sealing the move, he never returned to his former house in Germany and he has now been fined for abandoning his old home.
According to German newspaper Bild , Dembele’s landlord Gerd Weissenberg said: “The house was a dustbin”.
Weissenberg added:
“The house was totally littered. Every room. When I first entered the house again, I got a shock. “It’s my parents’ home and that’s why I’m very disappointed. I am selling the house now.”
The fine, which included rent arrears, was less than half the €21,000 originally sought by Weissenberg.
But Demebele’s lawyer Horst Kletke was pleased with the ruling regarding his client.
